Iran is currently a signatory to the NNPT(if you're reading this blog, you know what this is ;) ), but it it is pretty cloudy as to whether or not they'll pull-out from the NNPT.
The CFR is a far better source of information than any US news source. It's a very well regarded souce for good reason.
