More RUSH..and a little Bush.

Evan's shills for el RUSHbo, while Bush attempts to remake ties between 9/11 and the Ba'athist's

First, I think at this juncture that Limbaugh should not be allowed to 'pain away' his addiction to hillbilly heroin, Lorcet, etc. Evan Thomas over at Newsweek apparently knows otherwise.

Quiddity at Uggabugga isn't buying Evan's spin, and neither am I.

If someone really knew that Limbaugh was in excruciating pain for years..I would think that they would have come forward by now. But if you read Evans' Newsweek piece, there may not have been anyone close enough to Limbaugh to know the real extant of his alleged suffering. Until there is evidence contrary to the fact that Rush played in numerous golf tournaments over the past six years--without apparent pain--then Rush's drug use must be viewed as common addiction. In short, it was to catch a buzz.

On to little George's day.

Bush forgets last month's statements

Mr. Bush apparently forgot about his recent remarks that Saddam, Irag and the Ba'ath party played no role in 9/11 today. Here's a BBC Link to George's earlier statement.

Today however, our great orator had this to say, on a day when two more U.S soldiers were killed in Iraq:

"That's what's happening today: People are willing to sacrifice for the country they love," Bush said at the White House. "They remember the lessons of September 11th, 2001, and so do I."

Okay. As far as I can tell, the biggest lesson that Bush learned from 9/11 is that lying to, well, everyone is now his administration's policy. As for any other lessons that George has learned from 9/11 things get pretty fuzzy.

According to Atrios, Mr. Bush then proceeded to play golf.

Will this adminstration ever stop retelling a different tale for politcal gain? (yes, that is irony)
